The Course

Course Restrictions and Support

For the safety of all runners, skateboards, rollerblades, animals, and unauthorized bicycles and wheeled devices are not permitted in this event. Strollers are welcome, but we ask you line up in the back of the pack to ensure the safety of you and others.

Everyone participating in this event must be registered, including children. We highly recommend that children under the age of 12 be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. 

Time Limit

The time limit to complete the 5K course is 1 hour. Those still on the course after this time may be asked to move to the sidewalk to complete the course as an “informed pedestrian.”

Water Stations

Water will be available at the following locations: 

  • Start Line Area

  • At one location along the course

  • Finish Line 

Portable Toilets

Portable toilet facilities will be located at the start and finish areas, and at all course aid stations.

Parking

Plenty of city lots are available in downtown Omaha. Street parking is available and no meters on Sundays!

Berkshire Hathaway Employees

  • March 1 - 31, 11:59 pm CT: $40

  • April 1 - 14, 11:59 pm CT: $50

  • April 15 - 25, 11:59 pm CT: $60

  • April 26 - until full: $65

Non-Berkshire Hathaway Employees

  • March 1 - 31, 11:59 pm CT: $50

  • April 1 - 14, 11:59 pm CT: $60

  • April 15 - 25, 11:59 pm CT: $70

  • April 26 - until full: $75

Number + T-Shirt Pick-Up

Please note: Bib pick-up at CHI Health Center is for Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders who have a pass to the shareholder convention ONLY. If you do not have a pass to the convention, you must pick your bib up at Peak Performance or on race morning.

Awards

Awards will be presented for

  • The top overall male, female, and non-binary finisher

  • The top Masters male, female, and non-binary finisher

  • Fastest team (sum of the finishing times for four fastest races on any size team; at least one of the four times must be from a female runner)

  • Largest team 

  • Top three age category finishers*

*Age category finishers can pick up their awards at the conclusion of the award presentation
